Here we are, dear readers, in the season of darkness. The shortest day of the year has just passed and it is the time that many of us celebrate a special holiday. For me, that holiday is Christmas. Here is a short documentary of my humble efforts for a cozy Christmas.

Have you heard the tale of the Yule Cat? In Icelandic folklore there is a tale of a monstrous cat that devours those that do not receive new clothes to wear before Christmas Eve. This sounds like a centuries-old textile industry conspiracy… Or perhaps old clothes have frayed strings a cat can’t resist. My Yule Cat is more of a gentle winter guardian. A spirit of coziness.

This year I decided to make Christmas cards for the first time. It was a lot more work than I thought. My coziness manager, Freya, carefully supervised every step of the process.

I’ve always preferred giving and receiving handmade gifts. I do my best to fill them with love and I hope those I care for can feel it. I wish you all a most cozy Christmas.
